We believe suppressors need to be purpose driven.  Sometimes you need a screwdriver and sometimes you need a hammer.  Real professionals only use multi-tools when they have to.  Most of us reach for the right tool for the job.

The Detroit Gun Works Synthesis 9mm is designed to have optimal signature reduction and unmatched manufacturability.  It does its job well.  And it’s made to last a long time.

We used our extensive material and machining knowledge to choose the materials that will provide the performance you expect over the lifetime of the product.  What we didn’t do is fill it with gimmicks.  Every piece is correctly specified for material and coating, even the often overlooked pieces like springs and o-rings.  These matter too!

Like our rifles we spend a large amount of our development time ensuring that our designs can be made correctly every time.  This attention to detail pushes the quality of our products into our machining processes, improving our ability to automate our processes.

We use a few proprietary processes we’ve developed to ensure that the centerline of the suppressor is exactly in line with your pistol.  Every one of our components is engineered for true-position to make sure that it functions repeatedly and your shots stay on target.

Finally, we engineered the product to be lightweight.  Although it’s easier to beef up areas, it is  a waste of material and machining time.  We made sure to minimize the weight of every component, creating an assembly that performs magically.  Enjoy!
