- Bolt is made from 1 piece of 4340 with a hardness rating of HRC 45-50 compared to 416R Stainless that is pre-hardened to HRC 24-36. Superior bolt strength keeps the tolerance stable over time and creates a smother surface interface.
- Receiver made from 1 piece of 4340 with a hardness rating of HRC 45-50 compared to 416 stainless that is pre-hardened to HRC 26-32. 4340 is machine gun grade steel. It is stronger and will not wear out in a bolt gun. It also is capable of very precise machine surfaces making our action both exceptionally strong and smooth to operate.
- One piece bolt machined with a headspace tolerance of +/- .0005
- Total tolerance held to less than +/- .001 on the bolt and receiver which allows easy barrel replacement. If you need or just want a new barrel, or a different caliber just call us up. Our pre-chambered barrels will fit right on your rifle without needing to use headspace gages.
- Configurable bolt knob lengths. You can configure his rifle with different bolt knob profiles that fit the hand or one that they prefer. Different length bolt handles in all profiles allow bigger hands to clear scopes and mounts.
