Detroit Gun Works sole goal for each match rifle is to eliminate all possible variables that contribute to you missing the target. An accurate shot is the sum of the rifle system and the shooter’s skill. DGW rifle system allows you to focus on your skills.  

Shot after shot a Detroit Gun Works rifle will deliver impacts on target, right where you need it.  We know because we have built and tested the system.  After we use our automated machining centers to produce the highest accuracy bolt and action combo in the world, we run every rifle through our testing process.  A DGW rifle doesn’t leave our factory if it doesn’t perform.  We throw it out and make you one that does.

Our rifles are tuned with factory ammo that makes them one-hole guns. No need to “experiment” with costly ammo to chase the right load for our rifles. The only thing you ever need to worry about with a DGW rifle is bullet drop, wind, and trigger control.

DGW Rifles are built with unparalleled tolerances allowing you to use and install our pre-fit and chambered barrels and have your rifle shoot just as perfect as it did from the factory. We started by reducing variables in our design.  Then we developed quality processes to reduce variables in the manufacturing and assembly processes.  Then we developed testing procedures to prove our results over and over.  All rifles are proof tested to sub ½” MOA for three 5 round groups.  It all takes time, and the product we build for you is the sum of that hard work.  We don’t rush it, but you also shouldn’t have to wait forever.  We could scale this up, but that’s not our goal.  Our goal is to provide you with a unique rifle that allows you to maximize your shooting skills and enjoyment.  If you’re not having fun, we haven’t done our job.  Our focus is on our customers that are looking to do things the way we do them.  Welcome to our club!
