Your Detroit Gun Works E. Hildale barreled action in a .308 Winchester caliber allows you to gain the benefit of our precision action and barrel to be added to your rifle buildup. The barrel is fluted which reduces weight which is ideal for a hunting rifle. This allows you to use your own existing Remington 700 short action chassis or trigger while updating your existing setup to a high quality action and barrel by Detroit Gun Works.
